Non-porous products such as porcelains, glass, steel and plastics can be fairly easily cleaned using home cleaning agents, because the mould can't penetrate and increase within. Clothes, drapes and fabric items can usually be washed or dry cleaned, but items such as sofas and cushions are often difficult to properly clean once fungis have colonised. Sadly documents and publications, plasterboard, insulation, and some wood items will simply need to be changed. Cleaning mould development off a ceiling or wall surface using home cleaning items may work on small locations not affected by flooding waters. However for locations bigger compared to a settle metre with hefty development or affected by filthy sprinkle, routine cleaning will simply remove the spores from the surface, leaving the material colonised by mould underneath.
